Newly elected vice chairman Justice and Legal Committee Kangemi ward MCA Hamisi Maleya has vowed to end the brutality at inspectorate department at cityhall.

Hamisi said he will use his
experience as X-military officer and ensure city inspectorate is friendly to Nairobi residents without necessary applying excessive force when carrying out their work.

“My first task is to ensure that we have a professional and responsible inspectorate officers …we shall engage county government so that we streamline this sector properly.” Hamisi said.

“We shall not allow any harassment and everything must be done according to the law…so the issue of Kanjo torture is long gone.” He added.
