A Congolese National and Two Kenyan charged with obtaining money by false pretenses in Kenyan gold scandal plead not guilty

The particulars of the main count indicate that the accused conspired to commit a felony by obtaining 500 USD equivalent to 64 million property of Sadegh Sadeghian Abolfazl between April 2021 and April 14th, 2023 in Kilimani within Nairobi County in the Republic of Kenya.

A Congolese nationalist and two Kenyans were on Wednesday were charged with two counts of obtaining money by false pretenses in a gold scandal.

The three Patrick Ngare Muchina, Kelvin Mwaura Ngotho, and Muke wa Mansoni pleaded not guilty before Milinani chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina.

While giving the direction,the trial magistrate ordered the accused persons to remain in police custody awaiting there bonds and bail ruling as well as the probation report.

While making the application for the bond, the defense lawyers told the court that the first two accused persons are Kenyans and they have a place of a board ,while the third is foreigner and was ready to deposit his password in court pending the trial and the determination of the matter.

According to the particulars of the main count,on diverse between April 2021 and 14th April 2023 at Kilimani within Nairobi County in republic of Kenya , jointly with others not before court, conspire to commit a felony namely obtaining 500 USD equivalent to 64 millions property of Sadegh Sadeghian Abolfazl.

The matter will no be mentioned on the 20th of April 2023 for bonds and bail direction
