EACC Raids Nairobi Water MDs’ Homes Over Corruption Scandal

Nairobi City Water and Sewage Company Managing Director Nahashon Muguna is a man on the run this is after the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission EACC sleuths raided his homes in Karen, Meru and his Industrial Area office.
Muguna who was at the time in Mexico was found unawares with EACC sleuths parting away with vital documents including money in dollars,contract documents among other things that are crucial for investigations.

“He was away in Mexico when the officers struck hard.Tender documents,money in dollars amounting to 50 million shillings stuffed together were found at his Karen home.” One of his aides told the media.
Muguna who is almost retiring from the service is under EACC radar this is after NCWSC employee reported massive corruption dealings and irregularities in the company.

“He enjoys protection from the Governor and Nairobi City County Assembly Water Committee Chairman and a long serving MCA but his days are numbered.” The source added.
He is slated to appear at Integrity Center later this week for questioning.
Others under investigation includes Finance Director Paul Omondi , Martha Kibui Acting Internal Audit and Risk Director and Josiah Gitu Acting Director Commercial Services.
