Prof. Nura Mohammed: Celebrating the Spirit of Labour on Behalf of Kenya School of Government

By Steve El Sabai
As the world marks Labour Day, the Kenya School of Government (KSG) joins the nation in honoring the dedication and resilience of workers across all sectors.
KSG CEO Prof. Nura Mohammed extended warm wishes to all Kenyans on behalf of the Council, Management, and Staff, emphasizing the importance of every individual’s role in nation-building.
“Our workspaces are filled with diverse experiences that must be recognized and appreciated,” said Prof. Mohammed. “Our efforts matter—individually and collectively.”
At a time when workplaces are rapidly evolving, KSG remains committed to nurturing a supportive environment grounded in excellence, innovation, and service. As Kenya’s premier institution for public sector capacity building, KSG continues to lead efforts in developing a values-driven and effective workforce.
Prof. Mohammed highlighted that Labour Day is not only a celebration but also a call to reflect on how institutions can better empower their workers. “We must never lose sight of the human spirit that drives development and service delivery.”
On this Labour Day, KSG salutes the nation’s workers—public and private—for their tireless contributions. Their commitment remains the backbone of Kenya’s progress.
