Grade 9 students at Mwiki Primary and Junior School in Mwiki Ward have a reason to smile, following the delivery of new lockers and chairs under an educational upgrade initiative led by Ruiru MP Simon Kingara.
The improvement, funded through the Ruiru National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), is aimed at enhancing classroom conditions and supporting academic success in the growing school.
“This is more than just furniture—it’s an investment in the future of our children,” said MP Kingara. “When students have access to proper learning facilities, they perform better and feel more valued.”
The provision of lockers ensures that students have secure, personal storage for their school materials, while the ergonomic chairs improve seating comfort, allowing for better focus during lessons.
