Man arrested in Bondo for killing his wife’s 10 months old baby for urinating on their matrimonial bed

A 25 year old man is being held at Bondo police station after he was arrested for allegedly killing his wife’s 10 months old baby for urinating on their matrimonial bed.

Jack Omolo, who has been in hiding since last month when he allegedly committed the heinous act, was arrested in Nyang’oma sub-location within Central Sakwa location in Bondo sub-county.

According to the acting Chief of Central Sakwa location Mr. William Oreme, the man has been escaping the police trap for the last one month after he allegedly killed the infant.

He told TOPNews.co.ke that the man had newly married the woman with the 10 months old infant and it seems he never accepted the baby.

“The man according to information we have ,he married the lady with ayoung baby of ten months,but seems the man never liked the young baby,”Oreme said.

The administrator stated that on the fateful day, the suspect allegedly senselessly beat the baby kicking him left and right, killing him instantly and then stuffed the body in a bag before giving it to the young lady then sent her away.

Mr. Oreme added that the matter that happened secretly was only discovered by the local administrators in Western Kenya when the lady reached her paternal home with the body in a bag.

He stated that since then, the man has been in hiding until last night when he was caught up with and arrested by the police.

“Since the incident he has been on the run,but we have managed to arrest him,”Oreme added

While confirming the arrest, Mr. Oreme who condemned the heinous act stated that the man will be arraigned in court to face murder charges once investigations are completed into the matter.
