Betika Supports National Super League With Football Kits

Leading betting firm BETIKA has supported 20 National super league(NSL) teams with football kits, balls and nets in preparation for the new season.

Some of the teams that have benefited from the kitty include Zoo Kericho,Migori Youth,Mwatate Fc,Kisumu All stars, SS Asad, Bomet APS,Modern Coast, and newly elevated Naivas FC.

Other teams include Fortune Sacco, Mara Sugar,,Shabana,Vihiga United,Muranga seal, and Transmara.
Addressing the media during the handover, Betika CEO Nicholas Mruttu said his firm is committed  to ensuring the growth of grassroot football which nurtures young talent.

“Last year, Betika directly sent 5 million by mobile money to 1,050 BNSL and KPL players to support them and their families. .As Betika, we are happy to support our sporting youths in any way that we can. We ensure that our kits are of high quality and the teams can use them for training of main matches,” he said.

Mruttu further called on other firms that are able to come in and help support local talent.

“We want to challenge other like-minded corporate citizens to rise up to  and support the community by giving back to worthy causes,” he added.

Mruttu also called upon clubs to continue observing the pandemic rules as prescribed by the Government and the Ministry of health.

FKF CEO Barry Otieno lauded Betika Gaming firm for supporting young talent from the grassroot.
Betika is currently the official sponsor of the NSL under a partnership with FKF that commenced in 2019.
