MCAs Call for Resignition of High Court Judges

Nairobi City County Assembly leaders now want high court judges Saidi Chitembwe and Mohammed Warusame withdrawn from County Assembly cases currently before them.
The two judges are in the middle of corruption allegations leveled against them, following a video expose by Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko.
The MCAs are now pushing for the Two to Step down over the allegations
This follows an outcry by the former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on social media platforms relaying a video of Judge Chitembwe and Warusame receiving bribes.
According to Sonko, the judges were bribed to rule against him which led to injustices in the delivery of the judgement on his impeachment.
Makongeni, MCA who is also the Minority Whip Peter Imwatok urged Sonko to challenge the judges in Court of law as the constitution allows him to appeal further.
However, Imwatok alluded that all procedures were dully followed during the impeachment of Sonko.
