David Ndambiri now wants Ethics and Anti-Corruption authority EACC and the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) to investigate Parklands Officer Commanding Station (OCS) over bribery, intimidation and false arrests.

Ndambiri who has been having issues with a private developer over alleged illegal construction while addressing the press last week Saturday accused the OCS James Murigu of collaborating with the developer to frustrate him.

“The OCS together with the Multi-Million developer has been arresting our men and harassing them while intimidating them. We call on the EACC to launch an investigation against him and necessary actions taken,” Ndambiri stated.

The claims follow an earlier move by the OCS to deploy officers to clear roadblocks set by Ndambiri in an effort stall the ongoing construction.

The developer, Ameey Homes has been embroiled in a legal tussle with Ndambiri for the past two years.

The move prompted a visit by the National Construction Authority to the site late last year and granted a clean bill of health for the project.
