Several Kenyans have taken to social media to celebrate Machakos governor Wavinya Ndeti after she showcased her co-piloting skills.
Wavinya showcased her expertise in flying a plane and she was accompanied by Captain David Mundia and First Officer Kennedy Mbugua from Nairobi, Kenya. Kenya Airways.
“Today I showed up to take to the skies, to feel the freedom of flight and the wide open air as a co-pilot, We safely landed in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, “she posted.
Among the notable Kenyans who praised Wavinya includes Revered Lucy Natasha.
“May God go ahead of you Hon Wavinya Ndeti Blessings,” she posted.
Bob Ndolo posted “You should have taken a photo while on Air. Otherwise, we have serious water issues in Sykimau.

Wavinya alongside Kenya National Chamber of Commerce president Richard Ngatia led a Kenyan delegation to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for a Trade Mission and Regional Conference.
Wavinya serves as a chairperson of the Trade, Industry, Manufacturing, and Enterprise Development committee in the Council of Governors.
Other governors present include governors, Eric Mutai (Kericho) and Joshua Irungu (Laikipia).
Speaking during the conference, Wavinya Ndeti said that the Kenyan delegation is passionate about fast-tracking the Trade and Commerce agenda for the country among partners in the East African Community (EAC) region.
She pledges Kenyan commitment to working with the members of the international community to enhance growth and cooperation.
“To fully exploit the trade opportunities in EAC, we encourage the member countries to address the policy and legislative environment to encourage intra-regional trade. Statistics have shown that unfavorable regulatory environment stifles the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and scares away investors.’ she said.
During her presentation, Wavinya focused on the available opportunities for MSMEs, Women, and Youth in the Textile Industry in Kenya.
