During the handing over ceremony, George Wachiuri, the chairman and trustee of the Optiven Foundation, said that their aim is to put smiles on the faces of people living with disabilities and transform their lives.

He urged people to partner with the Foundation and help gift deserving individuals who are differently-abled.

Wachiuri also noted that donations of funds or actual wheelchairs will go a long way in helping friends, family, and neighbors become mobile.
