Ogilvy Africa promotes Akua Owusu-Nartey to Chief Client Officer, Sub-Saharan Africa

Ogilvy Africa has promoted Akua Owusu-Nartey to the position of Chief Client Officer across Sub-Sahara Africa to drive best-in-class operational excellence for the agency’s top clients in the continent.

While ensuring that Ogilvy Africa’s clients get a truly world class experience, Akua will also be the Head of Connected Culture, working closely with the Leadership and People Teams to entrench Ogilvy’s defined belief system and values into a lived experience for its people.

A highly respected marketing practitioner with over 18 years’ experience, Akua has been a go-to strategist for clients looking to connect with their target audiences and as senior counsel, this role fits her abilities and the network’s Africa vision.

As she builds a talent strategy that ensures Ogilvy Africa is future ready, she will be guided by her leadership mantra, which is simple yet powerful: “it is amazing what you can achieve when you don’t care who gets the credit”.
