Nairobi member of county Assembly for Korogocho MCA Absalom Odhiambo also known as Matach has promised youths in the county better days after meeting the Azimio Leader Raila Odinga on Wednesday.
Matach says he had an opportunity to deliberate matters touching on the young people including unemployment, depression, drug addiction among other matters of importance.
“Yesterday’s meeting with the opposition meant good for the young people in the City. Many youths with young families are going through tough times with the high cost of living. We have put in place strategies on how we can uplift their lives through foodstuffs donations to slum families, free counselling services and rehabilitation,” Matach said
He further said that he is championing a campaign that looks forward at employing more youths in both levels of county government to reduce unemployment cases.
Youth tournaments meant to relieve youths from the distress of unemployment and drug abuse will be brought about throughout the wards of Nairobi
