Teso South Member of Parliament Mary Emaase was last weekend forced to cut his speech prematurely and flee after being booed by ODM supporters at a burial.
The ODM supporters asked her to leave the podium when trying to persuade them to support the UDA regime.
When Nairobi Assembly Majority Leader Peter Imwatok was ushered to speak to the mourners, the ground got hostile to her and this is when she was whisked away by her bodyguard.
Other leaders including former Busia governor Sospiter Ojamong’ also got it rough to address mourners. They were asked to go back to ODM amid heckles.
“We are telling them that Teso votes are not for sale,From Ojamong,Emaase and Osia my friends you will not use our people to erich yourselves.Teso ni ODM no more tumbocracy in this region.Tutapambana na nyinyi.Mkule State House mlale lakini wateso hamtatumia kama niko.’’ He warned.
