Charles Ondieki Nyabuto has been charged before the Milimani Law Courts with obtaining Sh10 million by false pretenses.
Ondieki appeared before Principal Magistrate Hellen Onkwani and denied the charges.

He is accused of obtaining the money from Maurice Owiti by falsely claiming he was in a position to clear containers from the port of Mogadishu.
The alleged offense took place between March 27 and April 1, 2019.
Magistrate Onkwani ordered that Ondieki be released on a cash bail of Sh1.5 million.
The case will be mentioned on July 17, and the hearing is scheduled for August 12, 2019.
