Teaming up with a multi-agency coalition, Ngogoyo, alongside Deputy Governor Martin Mosisho, MCA Nkaimurunya Ward Hon. Maina Mutiga, and supported by the County Commissioner’s office and the Kajiado County Emergency Department, they orchestrated the distribution of food and essential items to over 500 affected families.

The initiative comes in response to the recent deluge of heavy rainfall that triggered widespread flooding, leaving communities reeling from the aftermath. With homes inundated and livelihoods threatened, the collaborative response led by Ngogoyo aimed to provide immediate relief and support to those grappling with the consequences of the natural disaster.

“We stand in solidarity with our fellow citizens during this challenging time,” stated Ngogoyo, emphasizing the importance of swift action and collective efforts in times of crisis.

Deputy Governor Martin Mosisho echoed these sentiments, underscoring the government’s commitment to standing by its people and offering assistance in times of need.

The distribution efforts, meticulously coordinated by the assembled team, included the provision of vital aid such as food supplies and essential items to help alleviate the distress faced by affected families. Hon. Maina Mutiga, representing Nkaimurunya Ward, expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort and reaffirmed the resolve to continue supporting communities through the recovery process.

The initiative not only underscores the resilience and solidarity of the Kajiado North community but also serves as a testament to the proactive response of local leaders and authorities in addressing the urgent needs of flood-affected residents. As the region continues to grapple with the aftermath of the floods, initiatives like these exemplify the spirit of compassion and unity essential in navigating through times of adversity.
