Speaking in Ruaraka shortly after his victory announcement on Friday afternoon, Dr. Boaz emphasized the need to set aside all forms of differences—tribal, religious, social status, and others—and focus on delivering services to the residents of Nairobi.
Dr. Cheluget, known for his leadership by example, campaigned in the 2022 elections in Ruaraka, a region traditionally dominated by the opposition. He specifically called on Nairobi Governor Johnson Arthur Sakaja to lead by example and ensure equitable distribution of resources across the city.
“Now is the time to shelve all differences, be they tribal, religious, social status, or any other kind, and channel all our energies towards service delivery to the great people of Nairobi,” Dr. Boaz declared. He highlighted the importance of leaders coming together to share the “National Cake” equally and fairly among all Nairobi residents.
