Kenya, Eburu in Eastern Mau, South Western Mau, and Kakamega Forests. The partnership also focuses on protecting critically endangered species like the Mountain Bongo and mitigating climate change.

“I express my appreciation to the Rhino Chargers for their steadfast contribution to environmental conservation, the restoration of sensitive ecological ecosystems, and the improvement of community livelihoods,” said Dr. Kanga. “I assure you of the prudent use of the funds contributed during the Rhino Charge.”

Kajiado County, known for its incredible diversity, boasts numerous exciting tourist attractions such as Amboseli National Park, the stunning landscapes of Ngong Hills, and the vibrant Maasai culture in various villages. The event emphasized the county’s rich natural beauty and its dedication to environmental preservation, showcasing why Kajiado is an essential part of Kenya’s tourism landscape.

Christian Lambrechts, Executive Director of Rhino Ark, along with the dedicated Rhino Ark team, extended an invitation to the event, recognizing the importance of such gatherings in promoting conservation efforts and raising awareness about the need to protect Kenya’s diverse ecosystems.

“Our county’s rich natural beauty and dedication to environmental preservation were on full display, underscoring why Kajiado is such a unique and essential part of Kenya’s tourism landscape,” said Governor Lenku. “Together, we are making strides in protecting our environment and promoting sustainable tourism.”
