Kakamega, Kenya – Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale has assured the residents of Kakamega that he will staunchly defend their development interests amidst concerns of exploitation by political figures Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi.
Speaking in Emulelee Village, Butsotso Central, Lurambi Sub County, during the send-off ceremony for Rev. Roselidah Ochami Were, mother to Stanley Were, a member of the Kakamega Service Board, Dr. Khalwale addressed the pressing issue of resource allocation from the national government. He expressed concerns that Wetangula and Mudavadi have been overly zealous in redirecting development opportunities to their respective counties, leaving Kakamega at a disadvantage.
Dr. Khalwale emphasized his commitment to taking a firm stand in advocating for Kakamega’s rightful share of national resources. He assured the people that he would not waver in his efforts to ensure equitable distribution of development opportunities, stating that the people of Kakamega deserve their fair share of government resources to foster growth and development in the region.
