MOA President: Listen to the Voice of Kenyans

The President of the Matatu Owners Association Albert karakacha has implored upon the Government to listen to the call by Kenyans and shelve the punitive taxes.

In particular, Mr Karakacha observed that businesses have been adversely affected by the protests, which have paralyzed several businesses for the past few days. He also called for sobriety and the voice of reason even as the security apparatus maintainsa law and order.

Protests have been rife for the better part of the week in condemnation of the Finance Bill 2024 which is oppressive in very many ways.
Mr. Karakacha also observed that businesses are also suffering as a result of the protests.
