“My family and I couldn’t believe it at first. This win comes as a blessing and a great surprise. This win is an opportunity for me to give back to the community that has supported me over the years. Thank you, Coca-Cola, for this incredible opportunity,” said Dr. Samuel upon receiving the news.

Launched in May, the ‘KachingChingNaCoke’ promotion offers enticing cash prizes ranging from KES 50 to a grand prize of KES 1 million. Dr. Samuel’s win marks the fourth weekly award, with three winners already announced in the past two weeks. The promotion aims to create 10 more millionaires in the coming weeks.

Theuri Chege, Coca-Cola Kenya Country Manager, expressed joy over Dr. Samuel’s win. “We are overjoyed to have Samuel as our fourth winner. His dedication to his profession and community makes this win even more special. The main aim of our promotion was to bring joy and positive change to our fellow Kenyans, and seeing the direct impact on winners like Samuel is truly rewarding,” said Chege.

To participate in the promotion, consumers simply need to purchase Coca-Cola beverages in 200ml, 300ml, and 500ml returnable glass bottles and check under the metal crown for a unique code. By sending this code via SMS to 40111, customers stand a chance to win a variety of cash prizes. The participating packs include Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Krest, Stoney, and Schweppes.

The three-month campaign has so far awarded four customers KES 4 million weekly and numerous Kenyans with daily and instant M-PESA cash prizes.
