MP Emase Whisked Away After Clash With Youths Over Yes Vote

  • Mp Mary Emase Chased Away by Voters at Omollo

Teso South Member of Parliament Mary Emase was today forced to flee after she was accosted by residents at Omoloi.

The angry residents questioned her move to vote YES for the Financial Bill 2023 that was rejected by majority of Kenyans.
“Lazima atuambie alivote “Yes” kwa nini…anakula 2 million ya Ruto kuumiza mwananchi akwende kabisa.” residents of Omoloi said.

The MP was evacuated from the scene by security officers who whisked her away.
“She will work in Nairobi not here aende Sugoi huo ujinga apeleke mbali.We did not elect her to cook tea in Sugoi.It has just started more is coming.” Another voter said.

After being whisked at Omoloi she had to cancel all her functions in the constituency.

She blamed Teso youths for instigating violence against promising them a political lesson.

“Wakumbafu sana hao Vijana staki kura yao wakwende pesa ya Ruto bado nitakula..” she lamented.

Last weekend Emase faced a similar confrontation with youths after Church service at Asariam .
