NCCK Appoints Sussie Ingosi Ndanyi as Deputy General Secretary

The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) has announced the appointment of Ms. Sussie Ingosi Ndanyi as the new Deputy General Secretary.

The announcement was made by Rev. Canon Chris Kinyanjui, General Secretary of NCCK, following a meeting of the Executive Committee. Ms. Ndanyi’s term begins today, and she will serve for one year, renewable once, as stipulated in the NCCK Constitution.

Ms. Ndanyi brings a robust academic background and extensive experience in church administration and advocacy to her new role. She holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Kenyatta University, a Master of Divinity in Peace and Justice from Earlham School of Religion, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing from the University of Nairobi.

Her previous roles include serving on the Executive Board of the Friends World Committee for Consultation, leadership positions within the Friends United Meeting, and as Treasurer of the NCCK Nairobi Region. Her extensive experience spans operational and financial oversight, risk assessment control, and policy formulation and implementation.

In a statement, the NCCK commended Ms. Ndanyi on her appointment, noting her exceptional qualifications and experience. The Council also requested prayers for God’s favor and success in her new role.
