CFAO Mobility Kenya and Family Bank Deliver 14 Hino Buses to MetroTrans Company

CFAO Mobility, the nation’s largest automotive distributor and service provider, has delivered a fleet of 14 Hino buses to MetroTrans Bus Company. The acquisition, financed by Family Bank at a value of Ksh 103 million, highlights a shared dedication to passenger safety, comfort, and security.

During the handover ceremony, CFAO Mobility Kenya Managing Director, Mr. Arvinder Reel, reiterated the company’s commitment to maintaining the highest technical and mechanical standards, particularly through their local assembly proposition, which includes the Hino buses. He emphasized the enhanced safety features of the buses, which are crucial for reliable and efficient operations.

“We are honored to celebrate this significant investment by MetroTrans Limited and deeply appreciate your continued trust in CFAO Mobility as your preferred transport partner. With a decade-long partnership and a fleet of 37 Hino buses, we remain dedicated to providing vehicles that consistently deliver reliability and efficiency in your operations,” said Mr. Reel.

The delivery of these buses aligns with CFAO Mobility’s long-term vision to support Kenya’s economy through local assembly, which allows for the transfer of technical knowledge, the creation of employment opportunities, and the overall growth of the automotive industry in Kenya.

Family Bank CEO, Nancy Njau, also spoke at the event, emphasizing the bank’s role in enhancing access to capital for SMEs. She noted that the financing arrangement with MetroTrans is part of the bank’s strategy to diversify asset financing options to meet the unique needs of their clients.

“As a key player in enhancing access to capital, we are always diversifying our asset financing to give our SME clients an array of options that suit their business needs. With strategic partners such as CFAO Mobility, we are mutually leveraging and providing opportunities for growth to our customers like MetroTrans,” Ms. Njau stated.

MetroTrans Ltd. Director, Oscar Omurwa Rosanna, expressed his appreciation for the quality of the Hino buses and noted the importance of upgrading their fleet to meet evolving commuter preferences and stay competitive.
