Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Hon. Justin Muturi, EGH, made a significant visit to the Kenya School of Government (KSG), where he was warmly received by the institution’s leadership.

This marked his first official visit to the School, highlighting its role in the development of Kenya’s public service.

Hon. Muturi was welcomed by Principal Secretary for Public Service, Mr. Amos Gathecha, EBS, ‘ndc’ (K), along with the Chairperson of the KSG Council, Justice (Rtd.) Charles Nyachae, and other esteemed Council Members, including Dr. Rose Ngugi, Mr. Denis Mutahi, Mr. Stephen Situma, Dr. Mary Mwiyandi, Ph.D., MBS, Ms. Linet Mirehane, Ms. Gatwiri Kirimi, Mr. Joseph Musyoki, and KSG Director General, Prof. Nura Mohamed, Ph.D., EBS.

As part of the visit, Hon. Muturi participated in a tree-planting ceremony at the School, in line with the institution’s longstanding tradition and in support of the Presidential directive to increase Kenya’s green cover. This act symbolizes the School’s commitment to environmental sustainability and aligns with national efforts to combat climate change.

“The Kenya School of Government is deeply honored by the maiden visit of Hon. Justin Muturi,” said Prof. Nura Mohamed, expressing the School’s gratitude for the Cabinet Secretary’s engagement and support.

The visit underscores the importance of the Kenya School of Government in nurturing the public service and its ongoing efforts to align with national policies on environmental conservation.
