Enos Njeru has been re-elected as the National Chairman of the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) for a new three-year term. His leadership, marked by a focus on enhancing the quality and global competitiveness of Kenyan tea, will continue to steer the KTDA towards achieving its goals.
In the same election, Eric Chepkwony was elected as the Vice-Chairman of the KTDA Holdings Limited board. The elections were closely monitored by the Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Development and the KTDA Foundation, with significant involvement from Dr. Kipronoh Ronoh, Principal Secretary of the Tea Board of Kenya.
The KTDA plays a pivotal role in managing and promoting the country’s tea sector, which is a major contributor to Kenya’s economy. Under the renewed leadership of Njeru and the addition of Chepkwony, the agency is expected to continue its efforts in maintaining Kenya’s position as a global leader in quality tea production.
