During his address, President Ruto commended KWS for its dedication to fulfilling a presidential directive that saw 56% of the newly enlisted rangers recruited from NYS graduates. This move highlights the government’s commitment to empowering youth and integrating their skills into national service.

The successful graduation of these young men and women marks a significant milestone in their journey of serving the nation. Their training, which spanned six months, has equipped them with the resilience and dedication required to contribute effectively to the country’s security and development.

The presence of KWS at the parade underscores the organization’s ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of national service members, ensuring they are well-prepared to protect Kenya’s natural heritage and contribute to the nation’s broader goals.
