Speaking at the launch, NCBA Group Director Retail Banking, Mr. Tirus Mwithiga, emphasized the bank’s dedication to supporting the communities in Limuru and Githunguri. “These new branches underscore our commitment to supporting communities where agriculture, land development, and small businesses thrive. Our presence in Limuru and Githunguri reinforces our promise to bring world-class banking services closer to our customers,” he said.

NCBA’s expansion in Kiambu County aligns with its broader strategy to promote financial inclusion, ensuring that banking services are accessible to all, regardless of location. The bank remains committed to delivering excellent customer service, understanding local needs, and offering innovative financial solutions.

As part of its sustainability commitments launched in 2023, NCBA has donated 400 seedlings in the region, distributed to Limuru Children’s Center, Ciiko Primary School, and NCBA customers at the branches. This initiative reflects the bank’s dedication to environmental stewardship and community support.

Additionally, NCBA is enhancing its customer offerings by eliminating monthly maintenance fees, a move aimed at making banking more affordable and accessible. This strategy is expected to strengthen NCBA’s Retail Banking presence while delivering customer-centric financial solutions.

The Limuru branch is located at Mumbi House in Limuru Town, while the Githunguri branch is situated at The K Unity building in Githunguri Town.
