Kenyatta National Hospital Leadership Signs Performance Contracts for the New Financial Year

Senior Directors, Directors, and Heads of Departments in both Clinical and Corporate Services at Kenyatta National Hospital have officially signed their performance contracts for the current financial year. The exercise was overseen by the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Evanson Kamuri, EBS, CBS.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Kamuri emphasized the importance of open dialogue and engagement with stakeholders to achieve the hospital’s targets. “Engagement is the essence of teamwork. The Performance Contract document serves as a guide, and the government is treating it with the seriousness it deserves, so we must approach it with the appropriate level of commitment,” he stated.

The signed contracts establish a clear roadmap for the implementation and monitoring of the hospital’s goals, which will be executed through an annual implementation plan and a balanced scorecard. These tools are designed to ensure that all efforts are aligned with Kenyatta National Hospital’s strategic plan, driving the institution toward its objectives for the year.
