Coast leaders, led by Kilifi County Governor Gideon Mungaro, have expressed outrage over the alleged sexual molestation of young boys by a suspect in the region.
In a press conference held at Sagret, the leaders strongly condemned the reprehensible actions of the individual accused of preying on boys as young as three years old.
The suspect, reportedly a Kenyan, has been accused of luring young boys with money and engaging in inappropriate acts, including the use of condoms. The shocking revelations have prompted widespread anger and calls for swift justice.
“We unequivocally condemn this heinous act and call upon the police to move with speed to apprehend the culprit and bring him to book,” Governor Mungaro stated. “He should be arrested immediately.”
The suspect is said to have gone into hiding after being chased away by locals. The leaders urged parents whose children may have been victims to come forward and report the incidents so that appropriate legal action can be taken.
Residents of Kilifi have been called upon to cooperate with the police to ensure the suspect is apprehended and justice is served. The leaders emphasized the need for the community to stand united in protecting their children and ensuring that such vile acts are met with the full force of the law.
