National Land Commission (NLC) Chair Gershom Otachi and CEO CHRP Kabale Tache Arero attended a farewell dinner at Sarova Panafric, Nairobi, to honor outgoing Chairpersons and Commissioners of Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices (CCIOS). The event recognized leaders from commissions such as the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), the National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC), and the Office of the Ombudsman, among others.
The evening was filled with personal reflections from the departing leaders, whose insights into their public service roles left a lasting impact on the attendees. Gershom Otachi, who is also the chair of chairs at the CCIOS, praised the collaborative spirit fostered among the commissions and expressed his gratitude for the contributions of the outgoing leaders. Their departure marks the end of an era, as their enthusiasm and commitment will be missed within the CCIOS caucus.
The farewell dinner celebrated the remarkable service and dedication of the chairpersons and commissioners, bidding them well as they transition into new roles.
