“It’s always a great joy to play big clubs, and we are confident of favorable results in our home game,” said Kimani.

Team captain Musa Mohammed will lead the defense, aiming to halt Zamalek’s attacking flow, while defender Aboud Omar shared the team’s high morale as they look forward to making history in front of their home fans.

“Our players’ morale is high, and we are rallying our fans to cheer us on as we make history,” said Omar.

With a vibrant atmosphere expected at Nyayo Stadium, Police FC is ready to take on the formidable Egyptian side, drawing inspiration from previous matches and the atmosphere in Ethiopia during their last away game. The team hopes to build momentum before the return leg in Cairo.

The club’s Executive Chairman, Senior Assistant Inspector General of Police Gideon Nyale Munga, emphasized the team’s readiness for the task ahead.

“I am confident that the pre-camp training has yielded positive results; we will be playing caliber soccer, and our players are primed for top performance,” said Munga.

Police FC begins their quest for continental glory in the CAF Confederation Cup, starting with the home leg against Zamalek tomorrow, before traveling to Cairo for the decisive second leg.
