Kamukunji Member of Parliament, Yusuf Hassan, welcomed British High Commissioner to Kenya, His Excellency Neil Wigan, to a landmark visit at Eastleigh’s iconic BBS Mall. The visit, which took place yesterday, showcased the mall’s significance as the largest retail complex in East and Central Africa.
The High Commissioner was greeted by BBS Mall Chairman Maalim Wali Hassan and CEO Munir Ahmed, who led him on a tour of the mall’s advanced facilities and expansive retail spaces. Since its opening in mid-2023, BBS Mall has attracted widespread attention, becoming a focal point for commerce in the region.
MP Yusuf Hassan expressed his delight at hosting the British High Commissioner. “It was a pleasure to welcome His Excellency to the prestigious BBS Mall, a symbol of Eastleigh’s growing importance as a commercial and cultural hub,” said Hassan. He emphasized that the visit reflects the increasing recognition of Eastleigh’s strategic role in Kenya’s economy.
