Kirinyaga County Assembly Speaker, Hon. Muteti Murimi, took a significant step in supporting the differently-abled by donating a wheelchair to Muriuki, a young man from Kariko, Mukure Ward. The donation took place on Sunday evening, with Hon. Thomas Mwangi Muriuki, MCA Mukure Ward, and Hon. Lydia Wambui also present.

Muriuki, who is under the care of his grandmother, received the wheelchair to improve his mobility and quality of life. During the event, Speaker Murimi emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities for all, regardless of physical challenges. “Every child deserves equal opportunities, and disability should never limit one’s potential and ability,” said Murimi.
