The Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) has secured top honors at the ongoing Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Nairobi International Trade Fair. KTDA’s initiatives, which align with the event’s theme, “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth,” were recognized across several categories.
KTDA took home the following awards:
- Best Stand Embracing Information Technology and Communication System
- Best Large Trade Stand (Commercial and Industrial)
- Best Display and Presentation in Insurance Service Stand
- Best Micro-Financial Institutions Stand
- Best Agro-Processing Stand
- Best Local Manufacturers Stand (Consumables)
Visitors to the event have the opportunity to learn more about KTDA’s pivotal role in the tea value chain, from production to market, showcasing their innovations in sustainable agriculture.
