Sango, Kenya — September 25th, 2024 — Hon. Innocent Mugabe, in collaboration with the Youth Enterprise Development Fund, has successfully hosted the second day of a youth sensitization forum aimed at empowering young people in Sango and Kongoni wards. The event trained thirty registered youth groups on essential topics including business development, entrepreneurial skills, and access to Youth Fund products.

The Youth Enterprise Development Fund offers a range of financing opportunities designed to provide start-up capital for young entrepreneurs, helping them launch and grow their businesses. The initiative is part of a broader effort to boost economic opportunities for youth across the region.

In attendance at the forum were several key figures, including the fund’s board director, Ms. Faith Lukosi, manager credit, Mr. Samwel Njue, Likuyani Constituency Youth Officer, Ms. Metrine Tenge, and officials from Equity Bank, who provided valuable insights on financial management and funding options.

The forum will conclude tomorrow in Likuyani ward, marking the final day of this impactful exercise.
