Bunge Towers, Thursday, 26 September 2024 — The Administration and Internal Security Committee, chaired by Narok West MP Hon. During the session, Prof. Kindiki disclosed that 42 people lost their lives during youth-led protests between June and August 2024.

Responding to inquiries about ongoing abductions and extrajudicial killings allegedly involving police officers, Prof. Kindiki reiterated that the government does not sanction such actions. “Myself, including the President, have made it clear that this administration does not condone abductions, extra-judicial killings, or enforced disappearances,” he emphasized.
