Elijah Mwangi Tops PS Rankings in Kenya, Recognized for Mining Sector Achievements

Elijah Mwangi, Principal Secretary for the State Department for Mining under the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs, has been ranked as Kenya’s top-performing PS by Microtrak Africa.

His notable achievements include a partial lifting of a four-year moratorium on mineral rights, sparking a rise in license applications, and the launch of the Base Resources project, projected to boost Kenya’s GDP by 0.6% through its contribution of 14% to global rutile production.
