LSK President Celebrates Safe Return of Abducted Billy Mwangi and Peter Muteti
The Law Society of Kenya (LSK), led by President Hon. Faith Mony Odhiambo, is celebrating the safe return of Billy Mwangi and Peter Muteti, who were abducted on December 21, 2024. Their release has brought immense relief to their families and the wider community.
Billy Mwangi, who disappeared in Embu County, was released early this morning. His father, Gerald Mwangi, expressed gratitude and relief, stating, “Thank God. The boy is back physically intact.”
Similarly, Peter Muteti, who was abducted from his apartment near Nairobi on the same day, was also freed today. A family member confirmed Peter’s return, adding that he is disoriented and not yet ready to speak publicly about his ordeal.
LSK President Faith Mony Odhiambo praised the collaborative efforts of law enforcement and the community in ensuring the safe return of the two men.
