A Heartfelt Tribute to the Late KEPSHA Chairman, Mr. Johnson Nzioka

The Kenya Women Teachers Association (KEWOTA) mourns the tragic passing of Mr. Johnson Nzioka, Chairman of the Kenya Primary Schools Headteachers Association (KEPSHA), who lost his life in a road accident in Athi River. His untimely demise is a profound loss to the education sector, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, leadership, and advocacy for quality education.
As headteacher of Donholm Primary School and KEPSHA’s National Chairperson, Mr. Nzioka was a tireless champion for teachers and students. His unwavering commitment to empowering educators and improving learning conditions made a lasting impact. He played a key role in uniting education stakeholders, including the initiative to register the Education Stakeholders Association of Kenya, aimed at fostering collaboration across the sector.
KEWOTA had the privilege of working alongside Mr. Nzioka in efforts to enhance teacher training, advocate for better working conditions, and elevate the teaching profession. His leadership, warmth, and passion will be deeply missed.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, colleagues, and the entire education fraternity. May his soul rest in peace, and may his vision continue to inspire the future of education in Kenya.
