President Odhiambo emphasized the program’s alignment with global best practices, preparing legal professionals for governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance roles.

“This initiative broadens career opportunities for lawyers while strengthening Kenya’s compliance ecosystem,” she stated.

Participants who complete the program will receive official accreditation from LSK and the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) Kenya, allowing them to conduct legal audits and receive institutional referrals. The curriculum covers corporate governance, risk assessment, and audit methodologies, with interactive sessions led by industry experts.

With regulatory compliance gaining increased attention in Kenya, this initiative positions LSK members as key players in legal auditing, reinforcing professional development and industry standards. LSK has reaffirmed its commitment to rolling out more CPD programs to keep legal practitioners competitive in an evolving legal landscape.
