Mombasa, Kenya – Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Renson Ingonga has been recognized at the Digital Transformation Public Sector Awards 2025, securing second place in the CEO of the Year category for his leadership in digital innovation.
His award was attributed to the successful rollout of the Uadilifu Case Management System, which has significantly improved efficiency in handling case files at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The system has streamlined case processing, reduced turnaround times, and strengthened collaboration with the Judiciary.
The award was presented by Cabinet Secretary for ICT and Digital Economy, William Kabogo, who emphasized the government’s commitment to digital transformation and paperless operations.
“We are excited by digital transformation, and the ODPP will remain at the forefront of embracing the digital era,” said DPP Ingonga.
The recognition follows Ingonga’s recent election as President of the Africa Prosecutors Association (APA) and his Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS) award from President William Ruto.
The Digital Transformation Forum brought together government leaders and experts to advance digital solutions in public service. Notable attendees included PS for ICT Eng. John Tonui, PS for Economic Planning John Mutahi, PS for Correctional Services Dr. Salome Wanjiru, and Director General of Immigration and Citizen Services Evelyn Cheluget.
