Murang’a Deputy Speaker Moses Gachui Praises Youth Empowerment Program

Murang’a Deputy Speaker and Kihumbu-ini MCA, Hon. Moses Gachui, has praised the Murang’a Youth Service Program for its role in addressing youth unemployment. Speaking at Kĩmorori Stadium during the Cohort 3 graduation, Gachui emphasized the county’s commitment to empowering young people with skills and job opportunities.
The program offers two months of casual work and training, followed by fully funded vocational courses in local institutions. Graduates also receive Ksh 15,000 seed capital and a one-year tax exemption to support their businesses.
Among those graduating were youth from Kihumbu-ini Ward, now equipped to start their entrepreneurial journeys.
The event was graced by Governor Irungu Kang’ata, Chief Justice Emeritus David Maraga, Governors Anne Waiguru and Anyang’ Nyong’o, and other leaders.
Gachui reaffirmed his dedication to supporting youth empowerment to ensure a brighter future for Murang’a’s young people.
