Ruto Lauds Elachi for Advancing Education Projects in Dagoretti

President William Ruto has commended the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) for successfully implementing numerous education projects in Dagoretti North Constituency.

During his inspection tour, President Ruto lauded the construction of 16 classrooms and a laboratory at Fatima Primary School, along with the unveiling of the Gatina Junior Tuition Block. He also inaugurated a new laboratory and four classrooms at Nairobi Primary School.

“I am impressed with how your MP has delivered on the classroom projects, as part of our agreement with Nairobi MPs to improve education infrastructure in the capital,” President Ruto told residents in Kawangware.

Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi highlighted the progress made through NG-CDF, including the construction of four classrooms at Public Primary School and several other infrastructure developments across the constituency.

Key Projects Completed:

  • Kawangware Primary School: 18 classrooms
  • Lavington Primary and Secondary Schools: 8 classrooms, a dining hall, and ground carpeting
  • Gatina Primary School: 16 classrooms, a laboratory, and ground carpeting
  • Muslim School: Laboratory
  • Nairobi Primary School: Laboratory and 4 classrooms
  • St. George’s Primary School: Ablution block and 4 classrooms
  • State House Primary School: 4 classrooms
  • Kilimani Primary School: Multipurpose hall and 3 classrooms
  • Kileleshwa Primary School and Riruta Primary School: Perimeter wall
  • Gatina Chief’s Camp: Equipped facilities

Elachi assured residents of her commitment to lobby for the completion of all projects promised by the president, including initiatives to revamp local markets, support education through the provision of school buses, and enhance student transport.

The constituency boasts 29 schools, each benefiting from NG-CDF-sponsored projects aimed at boosting education and creating a conducive learning environment for students.
