Ruiru MP Simon King’ara has donated Ksh. 200,000, along with football jerseys and balls, to support local football clubs in his constituency. The donation, made through the Simon Ng’ang’a King’ara Foundation, aims to enhance training, competitions, and talent development.
Speaking during a meeting with Ruiru Football Federation leaders, Hon. King’ara emphasized the role of sports in building careers, discipline, and community unity.
“Football is more than a game—it’s a platform for growth and community engagement,” he said.
The Federation thanked the MP for his support, noting that such contributions are vital for nurturing grassroots talent.
This initiative aligns with King’ara’s broader youth empowerment agenda, which includes education, entrepreneurship, and sports development.
With sustained investment, Ruiru is poised to become a center for football talent and youth empowerment.
