Garissa Governor Nathif J. Adam Honors Quran Recitation Champions

Garissa Governor Hon. Nathif J. Adam has celebrated the outstanding achievements of three young students from Markaz Umul-Quran of Garissa, who excelled in the prestigious Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition held at BBS Mall, Eastleigh.
Among the top performers, Somane Ibrahim clinched 1st place in the 10 Juz’ category, while Imran Mohamed secured 3rd place in the 15 Juz’ category. Their remarkable success reflects dedication, discipline, and deep spiritual commitment.
Governor Nathif commended the students, their families, and Sheikh Nuh Abdi Aden, their mentor, for his pivotal role in nurturing young scholars. He emphasized the importance of religious education, highlighting its role in preserving cultural and spiritual values.
Reaffirming his commitment to academic and religious excellence, Governor Nathif vowed to continue supporting young scholars and ensuring Garissa remains a hub for Quranic learning.
