The Kenya School of Government (KSG) hosted a one-day National Youth Officers’ Forum, bringing together youth affairs officers from across the country to strategize on enhancing youth participation in national development.
The event was graced by Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy & Sports, Hon. Salim Mvurya, and Principal Secretary for Youth Affairs and Creative Economy, Ismaily Madey. They were received by KSG Director General Prof. Nura Mohamed, whose leadership continues to position KSG as a key institution in governance and policy development.
Discussions centered on collaborative strategies between the government, private sector, and youth organizations to create sustainable opportunities for young people. The forum emphasized youth engagement in governance, entrepreneurship, and the creative economy, aligning with Kenya’s broader economic transformation goals.
As Kenya seeks to harness the power of its youthful population, such forums are critical in equipping youth officers with actionable strategies to drive meaningful change. The engagement at KSG marks a significant step toward unlocking the full potential of Kenya’s young generation.
