MSEA Boosts Youth Employment and Enterprise Growth in Kenya
By John Kariuki
The Micro Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA) is spearheading strategic efforts to enhance youth employment and support entrepreneurship in Kenya.
Today, MSEA CEO Henry Rithaa hosted a delegation from IloProspects, led by Chief Technical Officer Caroline Njuki, in a meeting focused on strengthening business development initiatives.
At the core of this partnership is the NYOTA project, a targeted initiative aimed at boosting productivity and competitiveness among youth-led businesses. Additionally, MSEA is rolling out the “Start & Improve Your Business” (SYB) training program, equipping Business Development Officers with skills to support grassroots enterprises.
MSEA is also driving the formalization and registration of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), ensuring they gain access to formal markets and financial opportunities.
By fostering multi-sectoral partnerships and supporting enterprises at every stage, MSEA is creating resilient business ecosystems that generate employment and drive economic growth.
With strategic collaborations and innovative programs, MSEA is empowering Kenya’s youth and shaping a thriving entrepreneurial future.
