Nairobi Assembly Majority Leader Peter Imwatok has now warned Busia County leaders against seeking political seats as a way of retiring after depleting their years in government service.
Speaking in Teso, Imwatok slam Principal Administrative Secretary Arthur Amug Osiya for pursuing retirement route with a political seat.
“They must know that this place is not a retirement benefit authority area where they come and dump themselves after doing nothing with their position in government.” Imwatok said.
Osiya has been putting his strings together to give a stab for Busia gubernatorial post come 2027.
“Teso Community don’t be duped by this people let them retire in peace and go home.” He stated.
Imwatok has emerged as one of the Teso favourite political spokesman with many viewing him as influential, competent and combative to take on current Busia County Governor Paul Otuoma who has since lost People’s support.
