Dr. Issack Noor, CEO of the Kenya Leather Development Council (KLDC), hosted a high-level government delegation at the Kenya Leather Park in Kinanie, Machakos County. The visit, led by Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation CS Eng. Eric Mugaa, included Mr. Eliud Owalo, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Executive Office of the President, and Mr. Richard Omelu, CEO of the Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA).

The delegation assessed the park’s progress, a key initiative aimed at boosting Kenya’s leather industry through value addition, exports, and job creation. Dr. Noor guided the officials through key facilities, emphasizing the park’s role in modernizing leather processing and reducing raw hide exports.
